Gurushey Deo is a Research Scholar at The University of Queensland, involved in a scholarship-based undergraduate research project focusing on the modeling and simulation of tempo-spatial dynamics in Australian petrol retail pricing. Simultaneously, Gurushey serves as a Junior Software Developer at Microba Life Sciences, contributing to quality assurance development and external auditing processes. Previous experiences include a Software Engineering Internship at Microba Life Sciences, an Engagement Assistant role at Engineers Australia, and a Bar/Waiter position at the high-end restaurant Patina at Customs House. Gurushey also participated in the Citadel Securities Trading Competition. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Maths and a Bachelor of Computer Science with a focus on Mathematical Statistics and Probability and Machine Learning at The University of Queensland, with an expected graduation in November 2025.
