Martha Cooper

Martha Cooper is a Senior Scientist in Data Science at Microba Life Sciences since November 2021, previously serving as a Data Scientist. Martha's academic career includes a tenure as a Lecturer in the Master of Data Science program at James Cook University, covering topics such as statistics, machine learning, and deep learning using R, Python, and AWS Sagemaker. Additionally, Martha held the position of Post Doctoral Research Fellow in Computational Biology, focusing on the computational and biostatistical analysis of transcriptomic and clinical data in relation to malaria infection. As a Doctoral Student, Martha conducted research on molecular profiling of immunity to infectious diseases, utilizing Human Challenge models and complex biological datasets to enhance the understanding of immune responses. Martha's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from The University of Edinburgh and a Master's in Infection Biology obtained through an ERASMUS Scholarship at Uppsala University.
