Emily Taylor has a broad range of work experience, starting as a research assistant at the University of Exeter in 2010. Emily then held roles as a countryside warden intern at the National Trust and front of house staff at Mosaic Catering before working as a data entry technician at SRG. Emily then became a laboratory analyst at LGC, a laboratory technician at SGS Petroleum Service Corporation, and a research and support technician at the University of Liverpool. Emily also worked as a locum clinical pathology technician at the University of Liverpool Small Animal Hospital before becoming an assistant laboratory manager for medical sciences and medical imaging at the University of Exeter. Emily is currently employed as a laboratory supervisor at Microbiotica since 2023. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in various laboratory techniques, testing, data entry, and customer service.
Emily Taylor obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Behaviour from the University of Exeter from 2008 to 2011. Prior to this, they obtained an A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, and General Studies from West Kirby Grammar Sixth Form, and AS Levels in Film Studies from the same school from 2005 to 2007. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Radiation Protection Supervisor certification from Aurora in October 2021, The Six Morning Habits of High Performers certification from LinkedIn in March 2021, and a First Aid certification from Onelife Training UK Ltd.
