Ghaith Bakdash

Ghaith Bakdash has worked in various roles since 2006. Ghaith began their career as an Intern at the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS) in 2006. Ghaith then went on to become an Intern at LACDR in 2007, followed by a role as a PhD student at the University of Amsterdam in the same year. In 2012, they became a Postdoc at UMC St Radboud, and then an Immunologist at GSK in 2016. Most recently, they have been working as a Director and Associate Director at Microbiotica since 2019.

Ghaith Bakdash began their educational journey in 2000 when they earned their BSc in Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Damascus University. Ghaith then attended Radboud University from 2005 to 2007, where they earned an MSc in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease. In 2007, Ghaith attended Utrecht University for a one-year Animal Course, before going on to the University of Amsterdam to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology in 2012.
