Ivan Acosta

Ivan Acosta is a Principal Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc., where responsibilities include developing a hardware test infrastructure, test automation, and creating/executing test plans for validating programming features of PolarFire and PolarFire SoC FPGA products since January 2021. Previously, Ivan worked as a Validation Engineer at Microsemi from February 2008 to January 2021, focusing on developing automated acoustic validation infrastructure for Automatic Speech Recognition products, achieving Amazon certification for Timberwolf solutions. Ivan also served as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from January 2006 to May 2007. Academically, Ivan holds a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso.
