Loren Swanson

Loren Swanson has a diverse work background. Most recently, they served as the Director of Business Development at Microgenesis Corporation starting in 2021. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, they were the Director of Tinkering School at TinkeringSchool.com, where they focused on providing children with tools and opportunities to learn through hands-on experiences. From 2014 to 2019, Loren worked as a Small Business Consultant at Biophilia Botanicals. They also have experience as a Business Consultant for various small businesses from 2009 to 2017. In 2008, Loren co-founded and served as the CTO of Kuna Prints until 2016. They were an Operations Manager at HomeGain from 2000 to 2008. Additionally, Loren worked as a System Administrator and Operations Manager at Global Reservation Systems from 1997 to 1999. Their earliest work experience was as a Trade Representative at the Iowa Department of Economic Development from 1995 to 1997, where they focused on developing market and trade opportunities for Iowa companies in Europe.

Loren Swanson attended Iowa State University from 1988 to 1993. During this time, Swanson pursued a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree with a specialization in Architecture. Swanson successfully completed the program and obtained a BA Architecture degree.
