YOUR TASKS
Shape and Lead Commercial Strategy
Develop and execute commercial strategies, closely collaborating with the CEO (as direct manager for the role) and other business units. You will guide the vision and drive the initiatives that accelerate growth, expand market share, and build a strong presence across petfood, aquafeed, and human food markets.
Accelerate Business Development
Identify and forge strategic partnerships, secure high impact opportunities and establish long-term partnerships. You will negotiate contracts, with focus on mutual success, sustainable growth and supply chain efficiency.
Drive Sales Performance Across All Segments
Direct the sales strategy and operations, focusing on acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and meeting/exceeding revenue targets in all target markets. Foster long-term relationships by championing exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Support with strategic marketing
Continuously gather and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to refine strategies and optimize performance across commercial functions. Collaborate with team members to translate insights into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Manage Product Portfolio from Concept to Market
Initiate and guide product development from a commercial perspective, ensuring alignment with market needs and business strategy. Work closely with R&D to influence execution, ensuring it meets commercial requirements and supports optimized product life cycles. Collaborate to bring innovative products to market while maintaining a focus on strategic market positioning.
WHO YOU ARE
You have an academic degree in Business Management, or related fields
You have 8+ years’ work experience in a similar role, with a clear track record in international sales in the B2B Ingredients space
You are open to travel (up to 40%)
You have a hands-on personality, team-play-spirit and efficient self-time management
You are passionate for sustainability and eager of being part or a fast-growing startup
Fluent in English, German and/or Portuguese is a plus
