Ana Luísa Cruz

Ana Luísa Cruz has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of biosciences, fermentation, data science, and competitive intelligence. Ana Luísa is currently working as a Co-Founder and CTO at MicroHarvest GmbH since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Corbion from 2013 to 2021, holding various roles including Competitive Intelligence and Market Insights Manager, Sr. Scientist GR&D / Team Leader Data Science, and Sr. Scientist GR&D / Team Leader Modelling and Design. Ana Luísa'sresponsibilities in these roles included providing actionable intelligence on external activities, managing teams, and contributing to strategic discussions and business development. Prior to joining Corbion, they worked as a Senior Scientist in biosciences and fermentation, and as a Fermentation Scientist at a different organization. Ana Luísa Cruz also has experience as a PhD student at Technische Universiteit Delft, where they conducted research on yeast metabolism, and as a researcher at iBET - Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica. Ana Luísa started their career as a trainee at DSM Food Specialties, gaining experience in R&D projects and optimization techniques.
