Troy Newman

Troy Newman has extensive experience in systems engineering and support roles. Troy began their career at Argon ST, where they worked as a Software Test Engineer and System Administrator for over 8 years. During this time, they tested satellite surveillance software projects and identified and resolved issues related to communications surveillance functionality.

Troy then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Consultant, where they provided support to the Chief Naval Operations' Fleet Readiness Division. Troy'sresponsibilities included troubleshooting networks and profiles running on Windows XP and 7 OS, as well as supporting secure telecommunication technologies.

After their time at Booz Allen Hamilton, Troy worked for Creative Computing Solutions, Inc. as a Systems Engineer. Here, they provided IT infrastructure systems engineering support services to the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Troy had a multidisciplinary role that involved defining technical efforts and sustaining system products through a virtual-cloud approach.

Following their role at Creative Computing Solutions, Troy worked at Kforce Inc. as a Systems Engineer. Troy supported a contract with Ally Financial Inc., where they developed and managed testing environments for various technologies, including performance, load, stress, vulnerability, security, and test automation.

Most recently, Troy joined MicroHealth, LLC as a Systems Engineer. Troy'srole involved supporting the Program Executive Office (PEO) Defense Health Management Systems (DHMS) program office within the Military Health System (MHS). Troy provided support for the Testing Infrastructure Managed Systems (TIMS) for Defense Health Agency, which included monitoring and responding to user requests, providing access support, and utilizing VMware Horizon View 6.

Troy Newman's education history begins in 1992 when they started attending North Carolina State University. Troy pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Technology and completed their studies in 1998. Moving forward, in 1999, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, which they obtained in 2002.

Years later, in 2018, Troy Newman attended the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Troy completed their studies in 2019.

In addition to their academic achievements, Troy Newman has obtained several certifications.
