Wanda Northern MSN-INF, RN, CSM

Wanda Northern has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Wanda began their career as a Head Nurse at DeWitt Army Community Hospital, where they managed the daily functions of a surgical/wound care clinic and assisted in minor surgical procedures. Wanda later worked as a Nurse Consultant at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, where they implemented a new project for the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program. Wanda also worked as a Clinical Informatics Nurse at The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates and as a Nurse Informaticist at Whitney, Bradley & Brown/VHA Office of Informatics & Analytics/Health Informatics.

In addition to their roles in informatics and healthcare management, Wanda has extensive experience as a Registered Nurse. Wanda has worked as a Float Pool Nurse at Inova Mt. Vernon Hospital and has held various positions at Premise Health Center, including Registered Nurse for clients such as Lockheed Martin, Navy Federal Credit Union, and Capital One.
