Amiya Banerjee

Amiya Banerjee, PhD, currently serves as Principal System Architect at Micron Technology since December 2021, where responsibilities include leading system architecture for TLC and QLC storage-based Enterprise, Mobile, and Automotive products. Prior to this role, Amiya was a Principal System Engineer at Western Digital from February 2018 to November 2021, focusing on determining Activation Energy for multiple NAND generations and conducting NAND Flash Characterization and Failure Analysis. Earlier experience includes a position as Equipment Development Engineer at UHP Technologies Pte Ltd, where development of a fully automated CVD reactor for graphene and 2-D materials was completed. Amiya completed a Ph.D. in Materials Science at the Indian Institute of Science from 2011 to 2016.
