Stan Willems

Stan Willems is a seasoned professional in project management and process development, currently serving as a Project Manager at Micronit since January 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Wageningen University & Research from September 2015 to July 2020, focusing on peptide aggregation, microfluidics, and supramolecular interactions, alongside a PhD candidacy that emphasized specific bacteria removal and water purification. Prior to this, Stan Willems worked at Aurion ImmunoGold Reagents & Accessories as a researcher, continuing internship work related to gold nanoparticles and immunolabeling strategies. Stan Willems holds a PhD in Nanotechnology, a Master of Science in Molecular Life Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, all obtained from Wageningen University & Research between 2008 and 2020.
