Stephan Custer

Stephan Custer, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Stephan is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Microporous, LLC since May 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Mafic from September 2021 to May 2023.

From 2018 to 2021, Stephan was involved in Consulting/Startup projects, including founding a green energy fund focused on hydrogen supply chain and working with Artisanal Brewing Ventures.

Before that, they worked at Coats as the SVP of Crafts North America where they led sales and commercial strategy for the $200M Crafts North America business. Stephan also served as the Managing Director for Westminster Fibers (Fabrics) and CFO of Crafts at Coats, where they developed business strategies and drove financial results.

Prior to Coats, Stephan worked at E&J Gallo Winery as the VP of Finance -- International, partnering with the division president to develop strategies and manage financial objectives.

Stephan also held the positions of CFO Asia Pacific and General Manager Japan/Philippines at American Standard, where they focused on improving business analysis and decision support, establishing long-term growth plans, and developing operating plans.

Stephan started their career at Dell and Procter & Gamble in finance roles.

Stephan Custer, MBA, holds a degree in English from Brown University. Stephan also completed their MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
