Guy Turchet

Guy Turchet currently serves as an Ambassadeur at Goods to Give, a webshop aimed at connecting businesses with social organizations to combat poverty, since September 2022. With a longstanding commitment to social enterprise, Guy has held several voluntary positions at microStart since November 2014, including Independent Administrator and Treasurer, and has been involved in microcredit initiatives to support those excluded from the banking system. Previous professional experience includes co-managing SPRL Au Soleil 86, a Brussels brasserie, from September 2015 to March 2017, and serving as a Professional Banker and Agency Director at BNP Paribas Fortis from 1988 to 2013. Guy began career in banking at Comptoir d'escompte de la Banque Nationale from 1973 to 1988. Educational qualifications include a Master in applied economics and a university certificate in business law from UCL Mons, as well as a diploma in commerce from UT Charleroi.
