Vikram Bala has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Vikram began their career at Intel as a Senior Quality Reliability Engineer, where they played a significant role in the development and certification of new technologies. Vikram also successfully resolved critical technology issues and mentored junior engineers.
After Intel, they worked at Danaher as a Summer Associate, where they developed an inventory management tool and designed logistical processes that resulted in increased service levels and cost reductions.
Next, Vikram worked at ExxonMobil as a Marketing Advisor/Consultant, where they developed and won support for a company-wide Customer Loyalty program. Vikram also chaired a subcommittee on marketing training and competency.
Vikram then joined Wilson Perumal & Company as a Management Consultant, where they led product portfolio optimization and market segment profitability studies for clients. Vikram also developed a course for clients to obtain six sigma Greenbelt level competency.
Currently, Vikram holds a senior position at Microwave Networks Inc., initially as Vice President of Operations, then as Sr. Vice President of Marketing and Customer Care, and currently as the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Vikram Bala completed their high school education at St. John's School from 1988 to 1995, earning a High School Diploma. Vikram then pursued their undergraduate education at Rice University from 1995 to 1999, obtaining a dual degree of B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering and B.A. in English. Following that, from 1999 to 2001, they attended Stanford University, where they completed a master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering (M.S.). Later, from 2006 to 2008, Vikram pursued further education at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, where they earned an MBA/MEM degree focusing on Operations, Marketing, and Organizations.
