Stephen Fried

Stephen Fried is the President and CTO of Microway, Inc., a role held since August 1982, where expertise in reverse engineering and software development has driven innovations in simulations, particularly with Intel 8087 technology. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Scientist at Physical Sciences Inc., where Stephen developed BASIC software for fuel cell simulations and enhanced power plant efficiencies. As the Owner and chief flight instructor of Yankee Aviation Inc., Stephen transitioned a glider flight school into a comprehensive aviation operation. Earlier roles include significant scientific contributions at Avco Everett Research Laboratory and research assistant work at Brown Molecular Beam Group, complemented by a strong educational foundation in Physics from Brown University and early training at The Juilliard School.
