Jarrett Schleyer

Jarrett Schleyer, MAI, is a seasoned real estate investment professional currently serving as Vice President of Investments at MAA since December 2016, where responsibilities include facilitating acquisitions and dispositions of apartment communities throughout the Sunbelt. Prior to this role, Jarrett was the Director of Investment Analysis at both MAA and Post Properties, focusing on evaluating, underwriting, and conducting due diligence for real estate investments. Jarrett's career includes a managerial position at Ernst & Young's Transaction Real Estate practice, and earlier roles at Navigant Consulting and 1st Atlanta Appraisal, where Jarrett specialized in appraisals for residential and commercial properties. Jarrett began the career as an appraiser and served in the US Army as a Specialist in the 82nd Airborne Division. Jarrett holds a BBA in Real Estate and Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia.
