Chase Weddle has a diverse work experience. Chase began their career as a GIS Technician at Mid-Atlantic Broadband Communities Corporation in January 2011. Chase reviewed and organized the GIS database and ensured accurate construction documentation. From July 2013 to June 2016, Weddle worked as an Associate Engineer, conducting site visits, providing quotes for construction projects, and managing grant and non-grant funded projects. Chase then moved up to the role of Network Planner, where they utilized design principles and engineering applications to design fiber backbone routes. From June 2018 to May 2022, they served as a Senior Network Planner, responsible for maximizing network utilization and coordinating construction activities. In May 2022, Weddle was promoted to OSP Engineering & Planning Manager. Chase'smost recent position, starting January 2023, is Director of OSP Engineering. At the Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation, Weddle worked as a Project Assistant from 2009 to 2011, assisting landowners and the Army with developing and submitting conservation easements.
Chase Weddle obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Environmental Policy and Planning from Virginia Tech, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they have also received a certification as a Stanford Certified Project Manager from Stanford University in March 2016.
