Kirsten Skorpen Lmsw, Ahpsw-C

Kirsten Skorpen, LMSW, AHPSW-C, has extensive experience in social work, particularly in palliative care and hospice settings. Currently serving as a Palliative Care Social Worker and Medical Social Worker at Mid Coast Hospital since November 2016, Kirsten previously worked as a Hospice/Home Health Hospice Social Worker at Miles and St. Andrews Home Health and Hospice from May 2014 to November 2016. Prior roles include Family Division Resource Supervisor at the Maine Judicial Branch from March 2002 to March 2014, Associate Dean of Students at Hampshire College from June 1999 to August 2001, and Parent Aide Coordinator at Children's Aid and Family Services between 1991 and 1997. Kirsten holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from The University of Connecticut School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Human Development and Family Studies from Hampshire College.
