Tim Bergen

Tim Bergen is the Branch Manager of the Springfield, Virginia location and his Mid South career began on June 1994 when he was hired in to work the Customer Service counter. This was a little daunting as he did not have any "construction" experience but he did have years of customer service experience as a bartender. In January of 1995, he accepted a position in Outside Sales at the Winchester, Virginia branch. This was short lived and he was back on the counter in Springfield in May 1995. January 1998 presented with new opportunity, as Warehouse manager. He held this position for 2 years and in January of 2000 was promoted to Operations Manager.

The experience and knowledge he has gained in these different positions eventually led him to be named Branch Manager in Springfield in January of 2005, a position he has held ever since. he has generally had more direct reports than most anyone in the company. When he was originally interviewing with Mid South, their President mentioned he was looking to hire people who wanted to retire.
