Dawid Zydek

Dawid Zydek has extensive experience in information technology and operations, with a focus on control system information, reliability, accuracy, availability, and cybersecurity. Dawid has held various roles at MidAmerican Energy Company, including Director of Operations Technology and Manager of Operations Technology, where they were responsible for IT support and the development of systems for generation, transmission, and distribution organizations. Prior to that, they worked at NV Energy as a Supervisor of DSM Technology Operations and Engineering, managing a team and overseeing the development and operations of the demand response management system. Dawid also has experience as a Research Scientist at Idaho National Laboratory and Assistant Professor at Idaho State University, as well as a Systems Administrator at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Supervisor and Systems Administrator at S&T Services Polska Sp. z o.o. Dawid'sskills include project management, technical leadership, and system maintenance.

Dawid Zydek has a diverse education history. Dawid completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems at Florida State University from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Engineering at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2007 to 2010. Dawid also holds a combined MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science in the field of Computer Systems and Networks from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, which they completed from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Systems and Control from Coventry University in 2004 to 2005.
