Eoghan Bonass

Eoghan Bonass has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in different companies. Eoghan started their career at Ingersoll Rand as a Factoring Administrator from January 2004 to December 2005, and later served as a Reporting Analyst from January 2006 to February 2008.

In 2009, Eoghan joined Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics (ACIA), where they worked for almost a decade. Eoghan initially served as a Data Analyst, responsible for report production, data extraction, analysis, aggregation, and visualization using various tools such as SQL, SPSS, Excel, and PowerPoint. In 2010, they built tools using VBA, MS Access, and Excel. Eoghan redesigned a client comparison tool in 2011 and contributed to an enhanced outlier removal subprocess using Python and SQL.

Eoghan progressed to the role of Senior Data Analyst, where they worked on major projects involving the redesign of the Market Trend ETL and the development of a small Python application to replace a manual report process. Eoghan further worked as a Data Engineer, focusing on the redesign of the ETL and dashboard for a high-profile Market Trends product using Wherescape Red and SQL. Eoghan also specialized in various reconciliation, aggregation, and data quality improvements.

In 2017, Eoghan transitioned to the role of Application Developer, where they developed complex data-driven dashboards and provided domain expertise on data usage. Eoghan primarily used React, Redux, and Immutable for their development work.

In 2018, Eoghan joined Midaxo as a Full Stack Developer, where they continue to utilize their skills in frontend, backend, and occasionally ETL development.

Eoghan Bonass completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from Dublin City University, from 1997 to 2001.
