Cade Peterson began their career in 2006 as an iTunes Store White Glove Agent at Apple. In 2007, they moved to Sephora.com as a Content Manager, and then to AIGA San Francisco as Programming Chair in 2008. In the same year, they also joined GSVlabs as a Business Mentor for the Core Labs Game Accelerator. In 2014, they became Developer Programs Manager at Leap Motion, and in 2016 they joined Unleashed VR as an Equity Advisor. In 2017, they were appointed VP of Content and Community at Jump and in 2018 they became CEO of MidBoss. In 2022, they were appointed IndieCade Alumni Board Member. During their time at MidBoss, they organized a multi-million dollar revenue generating Steam Sale event aligned with their 4th annual month-long "Season of Pride" charity fundraising streaming event, secured a global comic book publishing deal with one of the largest US comic book publishers, IDW Publishing, secured successful Nintendo Switch and PS Vita physical releases with Limited Run Games, created the Queer Games Bundles 1 and 2 on Steam, secured a Nintendo Switch global digital release of 2064: Read Only Memories, and secured featuring of the iOS mobile game 2064: ROM Type-M three times in 2018. Cade has also given speaking engagements at PAX Online 2020, PAX Online 2021, GDC 2018, and PAX West 2017.
Cade Peterson obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Hult International Business School in 2014, specializing in Project Management. Cade also earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Texas State University in 2006, with a focus on Communication Design. In 1995 and 1996, Cade attended the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science. In August 2014, they obtained a Level 3: Innovation Manager Certification from the Global Innovation Management Institute.
