Afaq Smadi

Afaq Smadi has work experience at two companies. In 2018, they worked at MBC Group as a Media Engineer, specializing in AWS cloud video delivery solutions. They were skilled in optimizing video encoding workflows, building serverless APIs using Python, and improving user experience. During the same year, they also attended a coding boot camp called ReBootKamp, where they learned full stack application development including JavaScript frameworks, database management, server-side applications, and version control.

Afaq Smadi completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering Technology (FET) at Al-Balqa' Applied University (BAU) from 2011 to 2015. In 2018, they attended ReBootKamp (RBK) for a program focused on Software Engineering and Full Stack Application Development. Additionally, Afaq Smadi obtained several certifications, including a Full Stack Development Track certification from Udacity in May 2020, an AWS-Elemental Foundations-Video Compression Basics certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2020, and a Video-on-Demand (VOD) workflows certification also from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2020.
