Muneer Bakhsh

Muneer Bakhsh is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the military and commercial aviation sectors. Currently serving as a Member of the National Committee for Military Industries since June 2024, Muneer also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at GDC Middle East, where efforts focus on establishing aircraft manufacturing and MRO capabilities in the Kingdom. Previously, positions included Chairman of the Executive Committee and Vice Chairman of the Board at MEPC, Director of Aeronautics at Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), and Aerostructure Director at TAQNIA, where Muneer led the development of an advanced aerospace composite facility. Other roles encompassed significant contributions to companies such as Composite Design Solutions, Goodrich, Honda Aircraft Company, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Boeing, with a strong educational background including a Master's degree in Aerospace / Aviation Management and Aerospace / Aviation Safety Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
