Jesse Bryant

Jesse Bryant is an experienced educator and researcher currently serving as a Lecturer at Middlebury College, teaching a January Term course on Contested Ecologies. As a Doctoral Student at Yale University, Jesse is pursuing a PhD in Cultural Sociology, Social Theory, and Environmental Philosophy. With a strong background in conservation, Jesse has held roles as a Research Associate with the Northern Rockies Conservation Cooperative and a Senior Field Instructor at NOLS, focusing on outdoor leadership and curriculum development in environmental studies. Previous positions include Executive Director of the Environmental Film Festival at Yale, Research Collaborator for WE ACT for Environmental Justice, and Policy Analyst at the Center for American Progress. Jesse's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Boston University and master's degrees in Environmental Governance and Sociology from Yale.
