Heather Hursey Urban

Heather Hursey Urban is an experienced educator and interventionist currently serving as a Reading and Math Interventionist at Middletown Public School District since September 2020. With a robust background in literacy, Heather has also worked as a Reading Interventionist for Hill for Literacy and the University of Connecticut since 2014 and 2012, respectively. Prior experience includes roles as an Instructional Assistant at St. Thomas the Apostle Elementary School and as a School Counselor at Talcott Mountain Academy and The Metropolitan Learning Center. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from St. Joseph College and Charter Oak State College, along with a Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Joseph College.
