Matthew Woods

Matthew Woods has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and leadership. Matthew started their career as a Senior Systems Engineer at Gen-i from 2008 to 2011. Following that, they joined Westpac Banking Group NZ as a Senior Analyst Programmer, where they played a key role in providing input to design, problem-solving, and anticipating future directions in the IT industry. In 2015, Matthew joined Middleware New Zealand as an Engineering Practice Lead. Matthew then worked as an Engineering Practice Lead at The Black Belts in 2020. Currently, they are a part of the Leadership Team at The Middleware Group and also serves as a Product Engineering Specialist at Glueware starting from May 2021.

Matthew Woods has a BCA degree in Economics, Finance, and Information Systems from Victoria University of Wellington.
