Austin Makala

Austin Makala is an experienced Industrial Electrician currently working at The Midfield Group since December 2022. Prior to this role, Austin worked as an Electrician at CBi-electric: African Cables from September 2013 to January 2023 and at Malesela Taihan Electric Cable (Pty) Limited from September 2007 to December 2012. Austin's early experience includes positions as an Electrician and Shift Electrician at Ziscosteel between February 2000 and September 2006, where significant expertise was gained in conveyor belts, crushers, overhead cranes, and 11kV synchronous motors. Austin holds a Technician Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering Theory from City & Guilds of London, as well as a National Diploma and National Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering from Kwekwe Polytechnic and Gweru Polytechnic, respectively.
