Michael Cheeseman

Michael Cheeseman, CPA, MBA has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Michael began their career at MIDFLORIDA Federal Credit Union in 1994, where they served as the SVP Controller from 1994 to 2001, and then as the SVP from 2001 to 2009. In these roles, they were responsible for financial and regulatory reporting and oversaw a team of business analysts.

In 2012, Michael joined MIDFLORIDA Credit Union as the SVP of Finance. In this position, they continued their work in financial reporting and analysis, as well as taking on additional responsibilities such as leading the business intelligence department and overseeing staffing and scheduling. In 2017, they were promoted to the role of Chief Analytics Officer, where they continue to utilize their expertise in data analysis and reporting.

Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial operations. Michael holds a CPA certification and an MBA, further enhancing their qualifications in the field.

Michael Cheeseman, CPA, MBA holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida, which they obtained in 1992. Michael further pursued their education at the same university and completed a Fifth Year Accounting program in 1995. Michael also achieved an MBA in Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Florida in 2012. In addition to their educational achievements, they hold the certification of Certified Public Accountant, granted by the State of Florida in 1995.
