Ashley Burr

Ashley Burr has a diverse work experience. Ashley worked as an AP Chemistry Teacher and Head Girls Track Coach at Midland Public Schools, where they taught various science subjects and coached the track team. Ashley also worked as a Summer School Biology Teacher at the same school. At Oakland University, they served as an ApREECE Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Student Intern and was also a Student Athlete. Ashley was an Assistant Track and Field Coach at Midland Public Schools, Dow High School. Ashley worked as a Substitute Teacher at EDUStaff, LLC. At Gladwin Public Schools, they were a High School Science Teacher and Coach, teaching biology and physical science and serving as the head cross country coach. Ashley also worked as a Physical Therapy Technician at HealthQuest Physical Therapy and Medical Fitness, where they helped perform exercises with patients and handled administrative tasks. Ashley was a Summer Camp Counselor at the Greater Midland Community Center and a Student Lab Intern at the Oakland County Health Department, where they conducted various lab tests. Lastly, they worked as a Parks Mobile Crew Member at the City of Midland, performing park maintenance and event setup.

Ashley Burr completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences from Oakland University in the years 2013 to 2017. Later, in 2019, they pursued a Teaching Certificate in Education from Saginaw Valley State University, completing it in 2020.
