Kushal Modi

Kushal Modi is an experienced design and construction professional currently serving as an Associate Design & Construction Manager at MidPen Housing Corporation since September 2021. Prior to this role, Kushal worked as a Project Manager/Senior Designer at Van Meter Williams Pollack from May 2016 to September 2021 and as an Architectural/ Urban Designer at JRDV Urban International from January 2014 to May 2016. Earlier experience includes a position as a Graduate Student Researcher at the College of Environmental Design, UC Berkeley in 2013, and as an Architect at Groundwork Architecture, where significant projects included the adaptive re-use of a shopping mall into a hospital and master planning a large residential development. Kushal's career began with an internship at M/S. Prabhakar B. Bhagwat in 2007, focusing on hotel design and presentation development. Academically, Kushal holds a Master’s degree in Urban Design from the University of California, Berkeley (2012-2013) and a Bachelor of Architecture from Saurashtra University, Rajkot (2004-2010).
