Powen Chiu

Powen Chiu, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as the Assistant Development Accounting Manager at MidPen Housing Corporation since July 2015, where responsibilities include reviewing and processing development-related invoices and tracking project costs. Prior to this role, Powen worked as a Senior Auditor at Lindquist, von Husen & Joyce LLP from July 2012 to July 2015, focusing on audits for low-income housing projects and financial statement preparation. Previous experience includes a Senior Accountant position at Koch Group & Company from May 2008 to April 2012, conducting audits and preparing tax returns, as well as a Sales Representative role at Autopax Supplies LTD from March 2005 to June 2006. Powen Chiu holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University at Buffalo (2006-2008) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from National Chengchi University (1999-2003).
