Alexis La Broi

Alexis La Broi has a diverse work experience in the audiovisual industry. Currently, they are serving as the Operations/Division Manager for the Audio Visual Services Division at MidPoint Technology Group, where they oversee various departments and provide AV integration services to commercial, state and federal government, and higher education organizations.

Prior to this role, Alexis was the Director of Sales for the Mid-Atlantic region at Production Resource Group from 2019 to 2022. They were responsible for managing sales activities in the area.

Alexis has also held board positions at AVIXA Foundation and AVIXA from 2020 to 2021 and 2021 to 2021 respectively. In these roles, they contributed to the strategic decision-making and governance of the organizations.

Before joining MidPoint, Alexis worked as an Avitecture Systems Consultant at Avitecture, Inc. from 2015 to 2019, providing consulting services in the audiovisual industry. They also served as the Regional Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region at Media Vision | The Conference Company in 2014.

In the earlier years of their career, Alexis held positions at AVI-SPL, PSAV (now Encore Global), Swank Motion Pictures, Inc., and AVI-SPL again. At AVI-SPL, they served as a National Account Manager from 2012 to 2014, providing audiovisual consultant services for various events. At PSAV, they held roles as a Sales Manager and Director of Sales, where they managed technology aspects of events and handled financial operations.

They also held the position of Director of Event Technology (now Encore Global) at Swank Motion Pictures, Inc. and Sales Manager at Nashville Convention Center while working at AVI-SPL.

Overall, Alexis La Broi has a wealth of experience in the audiovisual industry, from sales and management to consulting and board involvement.

Alexis La Broi has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Northwestern University. Alexis also holds an MBA with a focus on Hospitality and Tourism from Strayer University. Prior to their higher education, Alexis obtained a High School Diploma from The Hotchkiss School. In addition, Alexis has acquired several certifications over the years, including a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021, a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification from InfoComm International in February 2016, and a CMP- Certified Meeting Professional certification from the Convention Industry Council in February 2012.
