Katie Pruitt

Katie Pruitt has extensive work experience in the education and retail industries. Katie started their career as an Apparel Design/Product Development Intern at National-Wholesale in 2013. From there, they joined Academy Sports + Outdoors as a Product Developer, where they worked until 2016. In 2016, they transitioned into the education sector and became a Fashion & Digital Media Teacher at Lufkin High School. Katie held this role for seven years until 2023. Currently, Katie is working as a Fashion & Principles of Human Services Teacher at Midway ISD.

Katie Pruitt began their education journey in 2008 at Baylor University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Apparel Design and Product Development. Katie successfully completed their degree in 2013. In 2011, Katie also had a brief educational experience at Maastricht University, where they studied General Studies for a year.
