Wes Burns

Wes Burns is an experienced executive in the banking and community development sectors, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Community and Economic Development at Midwest BankCentre since December 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing initiatives related to affordable housing and complex financing structures in the St. Louis region. Burns also holds a board membership at Covenant House Missouri and previously served as St. Louis Market President at Providence Bank from November 2017 to December 2020, leading all commercial banking activities in that market. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at U.S. Bank, where responsibilities ranged from asset and construction management to business banking. Burns began the career as Market President at Farmers and Merchants Bank and has a strong educational background, holding an MBA from Webster University and a degree in Business Management from Southeast Missouri State University.
