Melissa Negoita

Melissa Negoita is a dedicated therapist with extensive experience in clinical social work across multiple healthcare settings. Currently serving at Midwest Counseling & Diagnostic Center since July 2018, Melissa has previously held positions as an inpatient social worker at Northwest Community Healthcare and a clinical social worker at Northwestern Medicine. Melissa's expertise includes providing individual and family therapy, conducting bio-psychosocial assessments, facilitating group therapy, and linking patients to community resources. Melissa began the career as a clinical therapist at Thresholds, focusing on adolescents and young adults, and has also served as a clinical case manager. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Aquinas College and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University.
