Dawn Claymore is the current President & CEO of Midwest Marketing. Dawn has over 25 years of experience in marketing and has held various positions at both small and large companies.
Claymore started their career in 1990 as an Account Executive at Lee Enterprises. There, they worked with automotive dealerships, real estate companies and other large retail businesses to grow their market share. In 1998, they left Lee Enterprises to become the Marketing Director at McKie Automotive Group. At McKie Automotive Group, they managed the marketing, event planning and public relations for 9 franchises and 14 automotive businesses.
In 2005, Claymore left McKie Automotive Group to start their own marketing company, Midwest Marketing. Midwest Marketing is a full-service marketing agency that specializes in working with small businesses. Since starting the company, Claymore has grown Midwest Marketing into a successful business with a team of 10 employees.
Dawn Claymore has a degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a certification from Google in Google My Business. Dawn also has a certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2016 SD SBA Women Owned Business of the Year. Additionally, they are certified by Google in Google Ads Measurement, Google Ads Video, and Google Shopping Ads. Dawn is also certified by Google in Google Ads Display, Google Ads Search, and Google Analytics. Finally, they have received recognition from Prairie Business magazine in 2016 Top Women In Business and from the American Advertising Federation in Black HIlls Advertising Federation SIlver Medal Winner 2017.
