Ed Borchert

Ed Borchert began their work experience as an Accountant at State Bank of the Lakes in June 1992. Ed then joined Heartland Financial USA, Inc. in June 1994 as an SVP - Credit Administration and remained there until November 2021. Ed then worked as the Chief Credit Officer at Bankers' Bank from November 2021 to April 2023. Currently, they hold the position of SVP - Senior Credit Officer at MidWestOne Bank starting in April 2023.

Ed Borchert obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Corporate Finance & Investments from the University of Iowa in the year 2000. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management at Loras College in 1992. In addition to their formal education, Ed obtained a Credit Risk Certification from The Risk Management Association in December 2007.
