Andreas Schmid

Andreas Schmid serves as the Director and Head of IT (CIO) at MHP – A Porsche Company since July 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing SAP Technologies and Architecture, and leading the VW SAP Vertical. Previously, Andreas held various roles in project delivery and SAP development, including Global Delivery Management and Senior Manager positions, where focus was on business alignment and global strategy. Earlier experience includes consultancy roles at Logica Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, concentrating on SAP NetWeaver ABAP and offshore coordination, as well as an internship at JRS J. Rettenmaier & Söhne GmbH & Co. KG, working on ERP implementations. Andreas holds a Diplom in Wirtschaftsinformatik from the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg and a degree in wholesale and foreign trade from Ivoclar Vivadent GmbH.
