Jan Rohde

Jan Rohde is an experienced professional in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, currently serving as Senior Director of Biotechnology at Minapharm Pharmaceuticals since January 2020. In addition, Jan Rohde holds the position of Director of R&D Operation and Project Management at MiGenTra GmbH since January 2022 and serves as a Scientific Board Member. Previously, Jan Rohde worked at Minapharm Pharmaceuticals/Rhein-Minapharm Biogenetics from November 2007 to January 2020, beginning as R&D Deputy Manager and advancing to R&D Manager, where contributions were made to Egypt's pioneering biopharmaceutical company specializing in therapeutic recombinant proteins. Academic background includes a PhD in Biochemistry and a German Diplom in Biology from Heidelberg University, along with a period of study at the University of Cape Town. Jan Rohde has also served as a Lecturer in Biology at the University of Heidelberg and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow.
