Christyn Johnson

Christyn Johnson, SPHR has over 20 years of experience in various HR roles. Christyn is currently working as the Human Resources Director at Mighty Media Studios, where they advise the business on key people and business challenges and coaches leadership to enhance their capabilities. Previously, they worked at COWI North America as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Head of HR, North America, where they developed and executed human capital strategies and managed HR operations. Christyn also has experience as a Regional Senior Human Resources Manager at Dragados USA, Inc. and as a Senior HR Manager at Skanska USA Building Inc. Christyn has worked in a range of industries, including construction, engineering, and retail. Additionally, they have held HR roles at TestAmerica Laboratories, Inc., Siemens Agency Services, The Home Depot, Business Interiors Northwest, Excell Data Services, and Trendwest Resorts, Inc.

Christyn Johnson, SPHR, completed their education at the University of Washington from 1991 to 1996, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Prior to that, they attended Redmond High School from 1985 to 1991, but no degree or field of study was specified. In 2011, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
