Joel Megerssa

Joel Megerssa has been in the software engineering field since 2007. Joel began their career at Hewlett Packard as a Software Developer, where they developed a C# web service and a dental prior authorization system built in C and Oracle DB. In 2014, they joined First Call Systems as a Lead Software Developer and Software Developer, where they built a multi-page session manager for a unified timeout counter in JavaScript, a Java web application for daily nurse notes, and an Android mobile application to replace paper checklist. In 2019, they began working at Mighty Networks as a Senior Software Engineer.

Joel Megerssa earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Waldorf College between 2002 and 2006. Joel then went on to earn their Master's degree in Computer Science from California State University-Sacramento between 2014 and 2017.
