Silvia Pineda has over 10 years of experience in the design and food industry. Silvia began their professional journey in 2008 as a Lead Graphic Designer at Bielak Asociados, where they created packaging, branding, and visual identity for Yoplait yogurt and Spanish food megabrands Colavita and Campoamor. In 2009, they moved to Walmart de México y Centroamérica as a Graphic Designer Sr, where they coordinated graphic executions for the Social Responsibility department and developed the branding and packaging of dozens of artisanal food items. In 2010, they co-owned Las Soupremes, compañía de sopas, where they served as General Manager and Graphic Designer. In 2014, they co-owned Nakanoke and Sons Kitchen Lab., a Mexican-Japanese salsa company. In 2019, they joined Cuenca as a UX Designer, responsible for creating sketch, wireframe, prototype and visual mockups. In 2020, they moved to Digit as a Brand Designer. Finally, in 2022, they joined Mighty Networks as an Art Director.
Silvia Pineda received their Bachelor's Degree in Design from Universidad Iberoamericana between 2000 and 2005. Silvia has also obtained four certifications from LinkedIn between February and April 2020, which include "Persuasive UX: Ethics of Persuasive Design", "Persuasive UX: Harnessing Illogical Reactions", "Creating a Design System with Sketch", and "Sketch for UX Design".
