Brendan Szuwalski

Brendan Szuwalski has a diverse range of work experience in mechanical engineering. Brendan is currently working at MightyFly as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at the same company. Before joining MightyFly, Brendan was a Propulsion Engineer at Opener. Brendan also worked as a Masters Student at Delft University of Technology, where they focused on their studies from 2018 to 2021. Brendan has also gained experience at Formula Student Team Delft, where they served as a Powertrain Engineer and a Drivetrain Engineer. Additionally, they worked as an Intern at Thorlabs and Maritime Applied Physics Corporation. Earlier in their career, Brendan interned at DFW Consulting Group, Inc. Brendan is known for their leadership skills, as they served as the Team Captain and Senior Engineer for Blue Jay Racing at Baja SAE at Johns Hopkins University. Brendan also worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, where they helped teach and grade homework for Mechanics Based Design.
