Debayan Das

Debayan Das is a seasoned data science professional currently serving as the Interim Chief Data Officer at MiiCare since November 2018. In this role, Debayan has achieved significant milestones, including supporting initiatives that led to a 77% reduction in bed stay duration for avoidable readmissions at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and securing a patent for Mobility Analysis using Acoustic Gait Detection. Previously, as Data Science Lead, Debayan oversaw a successful InnovateUK project focused on acoustic gait analysis and played a key role in winning multiple grants totaling over £1 million. Additional accomplishments include the launch of a free RTI detector for crowdsourcing and research, development of novel algorithms for analyzing elderly health, and leading a team focused on data science innovations. Debayan's experience spans various stages of data science and machine learning, complemented by a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Amity University.
