Luigi Borelli

Luigi Borelli is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in automatic assembly and robotic solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Applications and Innovation Engineer at Mikron since July 2008, Luigi focuses on researching new technologies to enhance assembly processes and supports project teams in addressing complex challenges. Previously, Luigi held the position of Applications Engineer at Mikron, where responsibilities included defining technical solutions for assembly equipment and preparing customer quotations. Prior to that, Luigi worked as an R&D Mechanical Engineer at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, managing projects and developing robotic applications. Luigi holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Automation and Robotics from Università di Pisa, attained between 1994 and 2004.
