Stephen Dey

Stephen Dey is currently the Director and Head of Product Design Engineering at Mila Cares, a Series-A startup focused on smart-home air quality products, where leadership of an international, distributed team and driving product roadmap definition are key responsibilities. Prior to this role, Stephen Dey held various positions at Apple from June 2013 to October 2022, including Product Design Manager for the Vision Pro, where significant contributions were made in product concept development and innovative sensing technologies, and Senior Product Design Engineer for the Watch, leading the design of multiple generations of watch bands with notable production volume. Earlier in the career, Stephen Dey worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Brechtel Manufacturing, developing climate research instruments, and was involved in mechanical design projects at UC Davis, culminating with a BS in Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science from the same institution.
