Tom McLean

Tom McLean is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in various technical roles spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Milanote since March 2024, Tom previously held the position of Technical Lead at Beyond Essential Systems from October 2018 to February 2024. Prior roles include Senior Developer at Today from September 2015 to October 2018, Lecturer at Deakin University in 2015, and Programmer at Endgame Studios and Cantrip Games. Tom co-founded Cantrip Games and worked as a columnist for Geelong Advertiser. An early career involved IT support and system administration at Montpellier Primary School. Tom McLean holds dual Bachelor of IT degrees from Deakin University, completed in 2009.
