Karine de Wachter

Karine De Wachter is currently the Chief Procurement Officer at Milcobel since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Zoetis Inc. from 2013 to 2018, holding the positions of VP Global External Supply and Global Strategic Sourcing Leader Logistics. Before that, they served as the Global Sourcing Category Leader Logistics at Pfizer from September 2012 to February 2013. From 2010 to 2012, Karine was self-employed as an Owner. Karine also has experience working at AB Inbev as the Global Procurement Director Raw Mats & Utilities from August 2003 to December 2010. Karine's career began at Procter & Gamble in 1988, where they held various procurement positions including Senior Procurement Manager and Procurement Manager, Procurement Assistant, Trainee.

Karine De Wachter holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Antwerp, which they completed from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they obtained a Professional Bachelor degree in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education and Teaching French/History/Latin from AP Hogeschool Antwerpen, which they pursued from 1984 to 1987. Additionally, Karine studied French Language and Literature at the University of Antwerp from 1981 to 1983. Karine has also obtained certifications as a John C Maxwell Certified Trainer, Speaker, Coach from The John Maxwell Team in 2019, and as a DISC Certified Trainer from DISC Factor Benelux in 2018.
